Our story

MBDdesign is a small jewelry design studio that started in Copenhagen in 2014, but is now located in Reykjavik, Iceland. We started out by making custom 3D printed rings and necklaces in a variety of materials. The first ultrasound necklace was later designed by owner Matthias when expecting his first child.

At the beginning, we were only shipping domestically in Iceland, but as demand grew and we got more inquiries on shipping internationally, we expanded to international markets in 2025. Now Pregnancy Necklace has shipped thousands of custom made pregnancy necklaces from our studio in Iceland, to happy parents around the world.
